Qualified candidates sought for one-year non-tenure-track position. August 2010 anticipated start date. Responsibilities include: teach in the dance curriculum including upper levels of ballet technique, and choreograph mainstage productions. Minimum qualifications required: relevant master's degree, professional experience in the field of Ballet; teaching experience. Preferred: MFA in dance; knowledge of and ability to teach Pointe and History of Ballet.

Nestled in the exciting northeast Ohio corridor, The University of Akron serves nearly 25,000 students from 40 states and 76 foreign countries with an array of associate, bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and J.D. degree programs.
