Please consider joining OddyFest for the second and last showing of the
trenchant txt-ing themed "TXT-ING, ROUND DOS", featuring two plays and a
smattering of songs from Hamilton's Revenge!'s second album, "Many Unhappy
Returns", available for FREE post-show! The ROTFLYAO fun starts at *7:15
p.m. this Friday, June 18th, at the Brody-Nelson MTG Room of the Cleveland
Heights Library (2345 Lee Road)*. Hope to see you there-- TTFN.

*Txt-ing, Round Dos: OddyFest #22*

* *

*Oddy’s summer season kicks off with the sequel to last June’s*

*hit program, once again chronicling texters and texting*

* *

*“The Stars” by Ian Adler*

>From Virgil guiding Dante out of Hell to Dante guiding Adler writing this
play to Adler guiding a Future Writer (ca. 2300), “The Stars” shines an
equally critical and humorous spotlight on the past, present, and future of
writing and its place in society.

*“Stand Off” by Matt Goldman*

This sequel to last year’s zany “Stand Down” focuses on a promising writer
engulfed in a world of texters, manipulative bosses, sleazy secretaries,
game show hosts, and a ubiquitous piano man. Can he survive these stand
offs with his integrity intact?

*Featuring the much-awaited return of Oddy’s house band,*

*“HAMILTON’s REVENGE!” playing hits from the brand-new*

*album “MANY UNHAPPY RETURNS”! (Album will be on sale [“on free” if you
want to haggle] after the shows!)*

*June 18*

*Show starts at 7:15*

* *

*BRODY-NELSON ROOM*

*of the Cleveland Heights Library, Lee Road Branch*

*(2345 Lee Road, just next to the stairs)*

*FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!*
