Opportunities available: Classes in all levels of ballet, pointe, modern,
jazz and hip-hop for 2010-2011 Academic Year;

Choreographic opportunities for established youth company and musical
theater productions



Qualifications: Previous teaching experience

Professional dance experience and/or college degree preferred



Compensation: OPA offers competitive hourly wages based on qualifications

OPA Dance Academy started in 2008 as a place for the actors in theater
productions at Olmsted Performing Arts to increase the level of their dance
technique. Since then, our dance school has grown, added more studios, more
classes, and needs additional staff. OPA feels very strongly about the level
of professionalism in the dance academy and demands excellence in students
and staff members alike. Staff members must be experienced and teach within
OPA’s philosophy of precise technique, anatomical awareness, discipline, and
nurturing each student positively to grow to his or her own potential.
