Murder on the Mount

Saturday, July 31
6:00 - 11:00

   The North Coast Men's
Chorus is excited to present a wildly entertaining evening of murder,
mystery, mirth and martinis. Make your plans now to attend Murder on the
Mount, a laugh-filled murder-mystery where you get in on the fun by helping
solve the murder.

The play takes place on Mount Olympus where the gods
and goddesses spend their time hanging out, drinking ouzo, and eating
baklava. Adonis and Aphrodite are having a torrid love affair. Apollo would
like nothing more than to work his godly charms on the beautiful, but
slightly dizzy, Athena. Eris, Goddess of Discontent, causes turmoil where
ever she goes, and Dionysus is the God of Wine - so he's in the running for
our favorite god! By the end of the first act, one of them is murdered.
(Hey, how can that happen? They're immortal!!) The gods go down to Earth to
find the world's greatest detective, thinking he can help them solve the
murder and apprehend the killer. You get to join in the fun by figuring out
who the murderer is and what motive they had. Prizes will be awarded for
the most accurate solution and for the most "off the wall" guesses.

Murder on the Mount, by Jan H. Kennedy, will be presented Saturday, July 31
from 6:00 - 11:00 at Brennan's Party Center, 13000 Triskett Road. During
the evening, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner of salad, a mixed plate entree
(beef and chicken on same plate), sides, beverage, and dessert prepared by
the staff at Brennans. Rich Cole, Artistic Director of the North Coast
Men's Chorus and Mixologist Extraordinaire, is in charge of the cash bar
and he's designing six different cocktails - one in honor of each of the
gods and goddesses! The whole evening will be filled with laughs and
outrageous humor. Added to the festivities, is a silent and oral auction
and a reverse raffle. The cast includes: Eric Alan Unhold - Apollo Lora
Workman - Aphrodite Matthew Shanafelt - Eris Jason Mravec - Adonis
Katherine DeBoer - Athena Bryan K. Fetty - Dionysus Tickets for the
entire evening of fun are only $40, but if you get a table of 8, you pay
$250 (a $70 savings!). You can make reservations (Due July 23) on-line at
www.ncmchorus.org [1] or call 216-556-0590. So, get on the phone or
Facebook, round up some friends, throw on a toga, and join in on the fun.
(OK, so the toga is totally optional, but I know some of you out there
would look terrific wearing one!)
