Main Street Medina Announces 
Party Bus Trip for Blue Man Group!
 
Medina, Ohio (July 20, 2010) – On Sunday, October 10, 2010, the “Party Busses” will leave Medina for a trip to Playhouse Square to see the amazing and oft-indescribable Blue Man Group (www.blueman.com) at the 2pm afternoon performance. The Tony-award winning group has delighted sell-out crowds all over the world with their musical and theatrical spectacular. Blue Man Group is best known for its widely popular theatrical shows and concerts that combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment. The blissful party atmosphere created at the live events has become the trademark of a Blue Man Group experience.
 
Tickets for the Party Bus are $55.00 per person, and include a ticket to the show, round trip motor coach transportation, a box lunch on the way to the show, and wine and chocolates on the trip back to Medina. Busses will leave the River Styx Buehler’s parking lot at noon, and will return between 5:30-6pm.
 
This is the second time Main Street Medina has hosted a Party Bus trip as a fundraiser for the World Tour of Music Concert Series. The first, to see “Ain’t Misbehavin” at the Cleveland Playhouse, was a huge success, and the group hopes to repeat that success with Blue Man Group.

Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band Kicks off Third Season
of World Tour of Music Concert Series
 
(Medina, Ohio- July 20, 2010) – Main Street Medina is proud to announce that on Saturday, September 11, 2010, the Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band will kick off the third season of the popular World Tour of Music. Based in the heart of Cincinnati, this group of well-seasoned musicians, whose specialty is Classic Traditional Jazz, has a musical effect that is at once entertaining, humorous and infectious. Founded in 1994 by veteran banjo artist and showman, Bob Adams, the band continues to gain an increasing number of fans on domestic and international stages. 
 
The Tri-State region of the Greater Cincinnati Area is home base for this popular group. The band's performances for jazz clubs, on cruises, at park concerts and jazz festivals always draw rave reviews, and its recordings have received critical acclaim. The Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band is sure to provide listeners of all ages with a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
 
Founded in 1994 by veteran banjo artist and showman, Bob Adams, the band has performed at numerous jazz clubs, festivals, on many river boat cruises, and continues to gain an increasing number of fans on domestic and international stages. 
 
Individual tickets are $25 for adults, and $20 for Main Street Medina members, seniors 60+, students, and groups of 10 or more. Season tickets are $80 for all four shows in the Series, a savings of $20 off the regular price. Tickets may be purchased by calling 330-952-0910. All performances are held in Broadway Street Hall, 144 N. Broadway, Medina, OH 44256. Free parking is available behind the Hall. The Hall is completely accessible. Seating is general admission only. Doors open at 7:30pm and performances begin at 8pm.
