Mondays 8/2-8/30 (no class 8/9)

Foundations of Bellydance 7:15-8:15
Explore bellydance as an avenue to fitness and strengthen muscles you never knew you had! In this class we will drill the foundational technique of bellydancing focusing on hips and torso isolations, postures, footwork and turns. Students will also learn the beginnings of rhythms, music and different stylizations of the dance. A terrific class for those who are looking for a great workout as well as those who desire to learn more about the art form.

Continuing Bellydance 8:30-9:30
Build upon the skills learned in Foundations of Bellydance. Students will begin to learn layering and more intricate combinations. A short choreography will be taught.

$48 member/ $53 resident of Westlake/ $58 non member/ non res
