SUMMER COMPLETE!

 

STAGECRAFTERS' BEHIND THE SCENES CAMP: AUGUST 2-6, 2010

Students Currently in Grades 3-5 & 6-8 for the 2010-2011 school year 

This one week camp will delve into the backstage magic of film, music
and theatre.  Students will get an inside look into the entertainment
industry as they explore various venues around Cleveland and learn from
the professionals.  They will get a back stage tour of the historic
Hanna Theatre, take a tour around the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and
Museum, and tour the costume shop of The Cleveland Playhouse.  They will
learn all about film making from Brendan Sandham, who will help students
make their own short film and then students will have the opportunity to
watch the world premiere of the film at the end of the week!  We will
work hands on with costume designer Caitlin Van Niel to learn all about
costuming and the art of mask making.  Other workshops will cover scene
painting, set design and more!  Camp includes one hour of swimming at
the Orange Community Education & Recreation's leisure pool on non travel
