Mark Your Calendar for 'A Date with Judy' at LCCC's Stocker Arts Center

 

Experience the songs of MGM's swing-singing starlet from her early days
in radio and motion pictures with "A Date with Judy! The Songs of Young
Judy Garland" at 7:30 p.m., Friday, August 27 and Saturday, August 28 at
Lorain County Community College's Stocker Arts Center Studio Theatre.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, and can be
ordered online at www.lorainccc.edu/stocker, or by calling the Stocker
Arts Center box office at 800-995-5222 (ext. 4040) from 12-6 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box office,
located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center. Online orders will be
charged a $1 handling fee per ticket.

 

The intimate setting of the Studio Theatre provides an idyllic setting
as Joan Ellison recreates the magic of Judy Garland in this
cabaret-style radio show that features popular hit songs such as "Zing!
Went the Strings of My Heart," "The Trolley Song," "Over the Rainbow"
and many more. Mark Flanders performs as the radio host with pianist
Michael Leamon. 

 

Theater seating is limited to 150, so don't wait to book your seat for
this popular show.
