HELLO EVERYONE! 
What a great summer we've had! We just finished up our production of "The 
Wedding Singer" at the Canton Palace Theatre and it was a smashing success! 
Another successful production at the Palace! The show was followed with standing 
ovations and audience cheers! Thumbs up to Director, Lisa Paynter for putting on

AUDITIONS:
Auditions for the production at the Palace this Halloween,"Sweeney Todd: The 
Demon Barber of Fleet Street" were held last night and tonight, August 4th from 
7:00pm-10:00pm. Please prepare a short 32 bar piece written by Stephen Sondheim 
and feel free to show up! We have still have audition appointments available so 
come on down and be a part of this fantastic production! Call (330) 494-1613 for 
more information.

UPCOMING PRODUCTIONS:
The North Canton Playhouse is presenting an amazing review of the MOST POPULAR 
SHOW ON TELEVISION? What you may ask? "IT'S RAINING GLEE!" which features some 
of the best talent in Northeast Ohio singing their way through popular music 
from the hit show. This show opens September 10th and runs thru September 25th. 
Fridays at 7:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30pm and 7:30pm on our 
Mainstage. Call (330) 494-1613 to make reservations for this awesome show! Get 
your tickets early! They're gonna go fast.

ACTING WORKSHOP:
The North Canton Playhouse and Almost New York Studio is in the midst of a 
summer workshop of "Showdown at Galaxys Edge" and it's a hoot of laughs! These 
youth ages 7-13 are having a blast with the melodrama and over-acting that's 
required for this side splitting show! Keep updated on our web site so that your 
child can be involved in the Fall Workshop and not miss this memorable 
experience!

The North Canton Playhouse was just awarded “BEST PERFORMANCE ARTOF STARK COUNTY 
2010” by the Stark County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Thank you to the 5,500 
voters who made this possible and to all of our audiences! We could never do 
what we do without you!
