For those of you who love Dance Technique

The Metropolitan Campus of Cuyahoga Community College is offering a

14-week class titled

Dance III: Technique

(DANC 2300 - CRN 88759 - Tuesdays & Thursdays - 9:00-10:58am - for 3 college
credits.

 

The cost is $253.68.

The course will begin 9/13/10 and last until 12/19/10.

 

The instructor for the class is Megan Pitcher:

Megan Pitcher is a diversely talented artist whose work spans from concert
dance to musical theatre and from film to installation art. She received her
BFA from Ohio University and trained at Movement Research (NYC), Dance New
Amsterdam (NYC), Bates Dance Festival (ME) and Lou Conte Dance (IL). Since
2002, the major focus of her work has been with her company of collaborating
artists, MegLouise Dance. She has been honored to present in national and
international venues, including the Junction Arts Festival in Toronto, DUMBO
Dance Festival in New York, Outlet Dance Project in New Jersey, Michigan
Dance Project, Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Columbus Dances and Ohio Dance
Festival. She also presents work at Cleveland Public Theatre, Cuyahoga
Community College and Playhouse Square.  

 

Pitcher is an adjunct faculty member at Cuyahoga Community College and an
instructor at Beck Center for the Arts. She has presented workshops and
residencies through Ohio University, Ohio State University - Mansfield,
ACDFA, Ohio Dance Festival, Hathaway Brown School, Shaker Heights Ensemble
Program, Orange Public Schools, Lucas Public Schools, Madison Public
Schools, Mansfield Public Schools, Dancing Wheels, Ohio Dance Theatre,
Richland Academy, Muskegon Civic Theater, Holland Area Arts Council, Ottawa
County Mentoring Collaborative and many private studios.  She performs
extensively with MegLouise Dance and has also performed works by Gabriel
Masson, Tere O'Connor, Susan VanPelt Peltry, Sara Whale, Sarah Morrison,
Lotta Londregen, Maree ReMalia and Kalindi Stockton.
