Community Theater Actors Needed for "Of Mice and Men"



Auditions for the G. B. Community Theatre production of

"Of Mice and Men"

will be held

Sun. Aug. 29 from 5 - 8 p.m.

and Mon. Aug. 30 from 5 - 8 p.m.

at the Ashtabula Arts Center

"Of Mice and Men" is a tremendously moving study of the character of two
roving farmhands, George and Lennie, When the mentally handicapped
Lennie-"with the strength of a gorilla and the mind of an untutored
child" -unwittingly murders a woman, George is faced with a moral question:
how should he deal with Lennie before the ranchers find him and take matters
into their own hands.



Parts are available 1 woman age 19+ and 9 men ages 30+.  Readings will be
from the script.



Performance dates will be November 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 2010.  Thursday,
Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 8 p.m.  The Sunday matinee begins at
2 p.m.
