The Cassidy Youth Theatre Announces Auditions for:
*Annie*
 Directed and Choreographed by Kate Leigh Michalski
*December 4, 11, & 18 10:00am and 2:00pm*

*Annie Audition info:*

*Auditions:* Saturday September 18th 1-4pm,
                   Monday September 20th 4-7pm
 *Callbacks:* Wednesday September 22nd 4-7pm
 *Ages:* 7-19 years old (seeking teens for the adult roles)
*Roles:*  All roles are open except for the role of Miss Hannigan.
 *Auditions:*  Please prepare a short, musical theatre song(16-32 bars). *No
pop songs, no recorded music*.  Bring sheet music in the proper key with
cuts clearly marked.  An accompanist will be provided.  Please bring all
conflicts with you to the audition, a rehearsal schedule will be available.
There will be a movement combonation taught at auditions, please dress
appropriately and bring the proper shoes (jazz shoes or sneakers are fine)
Call backs will be by invitation only.


*We are also seeking a  dog for the role of Sandy.  Must be very well
trained and comfortable around children.  Owner must be at all performances
and neccessary rehearsals.  Please call if you are interested.  Please do
not bring dogs to the auditions, there will be a seperate time for this.

*StarDust!*
4-6 year olds
Saturdays September 18th-November 20th
11-12pm
Here's a fun way for the youngest ones to get their start in theatre!  This
non-stressful approach to basic acting will teach your star how to twinkle!
This class will work on imagination, memorization and working together.  The
ability to read is not necessary.  A brief showcase featuring what they have
learned will be presented for family and friends on Saturday November 20th.
This class will be taught by Erin diLauro, director of last year's "A Winnie
the PoohChristmas Tail.

*StarBright!*
7-12 year olds
Saturdays September 18th-November 20th
9-11am
(11/13-11/20 Class is 9-12pm)
This class is for students who want to focus on acting, singing and dancing
in musical theatre.  .  The program is designed to benefit children of all
ability and experience levels.  Students must have basic reading skills. The
class will conclude with a performance of selections from "School House
Rock". This class will be taught by Erin diLauro, director of last year's "A
Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail."

*StarWorks!*
13-19 year olds
Saturdays September 18th-November 20th
10am-12pm
StarWorks is an active and exciting class for teens to study acting.
Students will also learn about theatre history, developing a character,
building confidence and audition skills.   Students of any experience level
are encouraged to attend!   This class will be taught by Kate Michalski, a
2009 graduate of Point Park Universitywith a  BFA in Musical Theatre.
 *A minimum of 10 students is required for this class.*

StarDust! Classes - $70
(10 sessions of one-hour classes)
StarBright! Classes - $140
(10 sessions of  two-hour classes)
StarWorks! Classes - $140
(10 sessions of  two-hour classes)

There is a $10 discount for each additional family member registered.
Payment must be made at time of sign-up.
Payment is non-refundable and cannot be prorated for absence.
Payment arrangements are available if necessary.
