events in Northeast Ohio, 

 6th Annual Taste Of Hudson

 
 The Tasteof Hudson is returning for its 6th year to historic Downtown
Hudson, Ohio for a two-day celebration of food and fun. Sunday and Monday, 
September 5 & 6, 2010 will be another Labor Day weekend to remember as you 
leisurely stroll amongst acres of delectable food, music, entertainment, fine 
arts, family and children's fun, luxury cars and the great specialty and 
boutique shops and stores that make downtown Hudson such a unique experience. 
The 2009 Taste of Hudson attracted over 30,000 food and fun loving patrons, 
making The Taste one of the biggest, and most successful events ever held in the 
entire region. Join us this Labor Day Weekend and experience The Taste. Please 
make your plans to visit our community during 2010 Taste of Hudson. Experience 
the best of the Western Reserve!  Co-presented by Akron Children's Hospital, 
Summa Health System, and Acme Fresh Market, the Taste of Hudson benefits the 
Summit County Safe Kids Coalition, Leadership Hudson, and numerous area 
charities. Through the Taste of Hudson and the Safe Kids Coalition, proceeds 
will go to many wonderful organizations that promote and implement strategies to 
prevent childhood injuries through community awareness. $135,000 dollars have 
been donated to numerous charities by TOH since 2005. 


This year, The Kent Stage is the sponsor of the Kent Stage Bandstand.  The Kent 
Stage Bandstand is located on the Gazebo Green at the northeast corner of State 
Routes 303 and 91.  During the two day event, the entertainment presented at the 
Kent Stage Bandstand will focus on youth-oriented bands as the world music of 
Uzizo, and a performance by the Western Reserve Community Band  In fact, on 
Sunday, Sept. 5th, the Kent Stage Bandstand will be the site of the finals of 
the Taste of Hudson, Teen Battle of the Bands.

Taste of Hudson is co-presented by Akron Children's Hospital, Summa Health 
System and Acme Fresh Market Stores and co-promoted by Windstream Communications 
and Laurel Lake Retirement community in Association with Little Tikes, Jo-Ann 
Fabric & Craft Stores and Pepsi. More than 30,000 people annually attend Taste 
of Hudson, making it one of the region's largest two-day festivals.

Location & Ticket Info 

The Kent Stage is located at 175 East Main Street in downtown Kent, Ohio.  There 
is FREE parking behind the theater and on all city streets after 6PM.  Tickets 
are available 24-hours a day at www.kentstage.org or call 1-800-595-4849. After 
initial on-line sales, Woodsy's Music and Spin-More Records go on sale.  If not 
sold-out, tickets also be available at the door.  Doors open one hour before
