AUDITION NOTICE
Last Train to Nibroc

THE STORY: 
A sweet, romantic drama set in the 1940’s, The Last Train to Nibroc is the story 
of May and Raleigh , who first meet on an eastbound cross-country train.  The 
play follows the couple for two years, painting a touching portrait of two 
people searching for happiness.

CHARACTERS
May - Early 20’s, from a small town in Kentucky.  She is sincere and honest in 
her beliefs.

Raleigh- About the same age.  From a nearby town.  Just a good guy; slow to 
anger and quick to chuckle.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Audition Dates:  Monday, October 4 and Tuesday, October 5 at 7:30pm sharp.  
Auditions will be held at Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake. Please 
note:  Clague Road is currently under construction and only the south bound lane 
is open - enter from Detroit Road.  Please check our website at 
www.clagueplayhouse.org for detour information.

Production Dates: January 14 - February 6, 2011 on Thursdays, Fridays and 
Saturdays at 8:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. (No performance on Sunday, Jan. 16.)

Please bring an audition photo and résumé.  Auditioners will be asked to do cold 
readings from the script.

A perusal script is available at the Clague Playhouse Box Office for a $10 
deposit through October 2, 2010.  Box Office hours are Wednesday - Saturday from 
1-6pm.  A pdf version of the script is also available upon request from the 
director.
