'American Idol' Finalists to Pay Tribute to Motown at LCCC's Stocker Arts Center

Just in time for Motown's 50th anniversary, four favorite "American Idol" finalists will perform in a special Motown tribute concert at Lorain County Community College's Stocker Arts Center.

"American Stars in Concert Celebrate Motown!" will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 6 at LCCC's Stocker Arts Center. Tickets are $25 for Orchestra seating and $20 for Mezzanine seating in advance and can be ordered online at www.lorainccc.edu/stocker, or by calling the Stocker Arts Center box office at 800-995-5222 (ext. 4040) from 12-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center. Take-a-Chance tickets are also available at the box office 1 ½ hours prior to the event. Take-a-Chance tickets are half-off the top ticket price and are available until the show sells out. Take-a-Chance tickets for this event will be $10/each and go on sale as of 6 p.m. that night.

"American Idol" finalists scheduled to perform are show-stopping powerhouse, LaKisha Jones from season 6; big-voiced David Hernandez from season 7; country singer Michael Sarver from season 8; and soulful pixie Alexis Grace, also from season 8.

This brand-new production, with musical direction by Michael Orland of "American Idol," is a great opportunity to see and hear the brightest "Idol" stars up close and personal. Join the excitement as these four superlative vocalists perform an electrifying concert of songs that catapulted them to national stardom, as well as selections from their current CDs and popular Motown hits.
