Cleveland (OH) based Dancing Wheels<http://www.dancingwheels.org/about-us.asp>,

modern dance company, collaborate with other Cleveland based artists to
premiere Bridging at the <http://goog_1725329767/>2010 Ingenuity
Festival<http://ingenuityfestival2010.sched.org/event/7a8ad5af4041c7a2a4cd5a69f182ce31>
.
Bridging gathers dance and other artists with technicians and places them
into the urban environment under the Detroit/Superior
Bridge<http://ingenuitycleveland.com/2010-location>to build a "site
specific" work in an environment unlike the traditional
theatre setting both dance companies are accustomed to performing
in.Bridging centers
on the topic of disparate entities collaboratively gathering their assets to
build a structure that will provide means of connection and exchange,
utilizing multiple vantage points inclusively. Bridging will premiere in an
environment that is both a literal space connecting Cleveland's East and
West sides and a metaphor for our community's need to collaboratively create
new possibilities. The work employs dance, an original electronic score by
Cleveland area composer Jeremy Allen, Segways from Karl Johnson's "Segway
Tours by Electric Transport, LLC," and multiple live feed video cameras from
The Cleveland Orchestra's Mark Dumm.
