ABOUT THE PLAY

It's Christmas in Tuna, Texas and, as usual, the community is buzzing about the annual Christmas Yard Display Contest - even though Vera Carp looks to win it again with the addition of live sheep to her exhibit. Adding to the Yuletide suspense, the infamous Christmas Phantom has struck again, Bertha Bumiller's husband is missing, waitress Inita Goodwin is utilizing a hair dryer to thaw frozen hamburger and Didi Snavely, of Didi's Used Weapons, reminds us all how dangerous it can be "to ride unarmed in a one-horse open sleigh."

All characters are played by TWO actors and somehow, despite the mayhem, all manage to have a Merry Christmas and take us along for the ride!
