The on-campus student film organization at the University of Akron, THE 2380 PROJECT, is holding its annual SCRIPT PITCH in search of a new feature film to go into production this year. The submissions are OPEN TO ALL and are FREE. Scripts must classify as “feature-length” (AT LEAST 90 PAGES in proper screenplay format) and may be submitted in any file type; preferably .doc, .pdf, or .fdr/.fdx (Final Draft). All submitted scripts must include the attached file as well as a brief (two or three sentence) synopsis of the story. THE DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2010. At the organization’s meeting on Monday, September 27 (at 4:30pm in Kolbe Hall room 111), all submissions and their respective synopsis will be provided for those in attendance to be read and discussed over that week. Then, during the organization’s following meeting (same location) on MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2010, ALL WRITERS WILL BE ASKED TO COME IN AND PITCH THEIR SCRIPT to the group in contest for the selection. Again, ONLY COMPLETED FEATURE-LENGTH SCRIPTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. If you are interested, PLEASE SEND YOUR SUBMISSION (SCRIPT FILE AND SYNOPSIS) TO MIKE CAMPANIZZI (VICE PRESIDENT, THE 2380 PROJECT) at the following email address:

We look forward to reading your work and considering it for The 2380 Project’s 2010-2011 feature film!
