International soprano,  Helen Todd is now giving free consultations for 
those  interested in becoming part of her Cleveland Heights voice studio.  
Space  for Fall 2010 is available. 
 
Students in  the studio receive intense vocal training to prepare them for  
auditions, competitions and performances and college  auditions. Full piano 
accompaniment of your songs by  Ms. Todd at your lesson. Current pricing is 
$30 per half hour to $55  per hour.  For more detailed pricing information

Most  recently, former student John Moauro has been  performing with the 
Broadway show of Hair! both in NYC and  London for the past year. Former and 
current students of  Ms. Todd have performed at local venues, Great Lakes 
Theatre  Festival, former student Christopher  Richards performing in "The 
Producers" at Beck and Dobama Theatre  in "Gutenberg! The Musical!", Near West 
Theatre, Playhouse Square,  Porthouse Theatre, Cain Park, Cleveland Public 
Theatre, Factory Theatre,  Kent State University among others.  Ms. Todd 
teaches private  voice for both musical theatre and classical voice of all ages.  
Ms. Todd  also prepares students for college auditions, both undergraduate 
and graduate  school.  She also runs mock auditions to prepare seniors for 
the college  audition process.  Seniors in high school prepare a full senior  
recital before graduation.  
 

Current  student accomplishments include Jonathan Ramos as Joseph in  
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at Mercury Summer Stock this  
summer!, Neely Gevaart in "The Producers" at Beck Center, Tia Karaplis starring  
as Edwina in "Dear Edwina" at Mercury Youth Summer Stock and Magan Yantko, 
a  scholarship award winner to Point Park Conservatory in  Pittsburgh in 
Musical Theatre for this fall.  Past students  have been accepted to Ithaca 
College, DePaul University, Lawrence  University, Southern Methodist 
University, Otterbein College, and  others. Ms. Todd teaches high school students as 
well as  adults.

"Ms. Todd debuted with Canadian Opera Company in the  Canadian premiere of 
THE HANDMAID'S TALE in the fall of 2004 as Aunt  Lydia.  In the spring of 
2005, Ms. Todd debuted the role of Madame Mao in  NIXON IN CHINA at Minnesota  
Opera.  Engagements during the 2003-04  season included the title role in 
LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR with Opera Illinois and  Juliette in ROMEO & JULIETTE 
with Sugar Creek Symphony & Song Festival.  Engagements during the 2002-03 
season included a return to Minnesota Opera as  Aunt Lydia in the North American 
premiere of Poul Ruder's THE HANDMAID'S TALE;  appearances with Cleveland 
Opera as the Queen of the Night in DIE  ZAUBERFLÖTE; and Wanda in a 
semi-staged production of THE GRAND DUCHESS OF  GEROLSTEIN with the OK Mozart
