The Cleveland Orchestra announces Chorus Auditions for Mozart's Don
Giovanni 

Positions for 12 Men and 12 Women and 4 alternates (2 Men and 2 Women)

 

Performance Dates: March 19, 22, 24, 27, 2011

 

Auditions to be held at First Baptist Church, 3630 Fairmount Blvd,
Shaker Heights  

on Saturday, November 13, 2010, beginning at 11:00am, by appointment
only.

 

Candidates should be prepared to sing one operatic aria from memory,
preferably in Italian, and with simple staging.  

An accompanist will be provided.

 

Please bring a resume and headshot to the audition.

 

Send a letter expressing interest by mail or email to Jill Harbaugh.

An audition time will be assigned upon receipt of your expression of
interest.

participating candidates.  

Applicants engaged for chorus positions, including alternates, will
receive a fee for their work.  

The Audition Committee reserves the right to dismiss immediately any
candidate not meeting the highest professional standards of The
Cleveland Orchestra.
