[NEohioPAL] OPEN FEATURE FILM AUDITIONS

Militia Hill Entertainment, a video production company owned by independent film 
director Michael Campanizzi, is beginning its first solely owned feature-length 
film, SLEEP EASY.

SLEEP  EASY, directed by Campanizzi, is the story of a young up-and-comer at a  
local bank named Ben Newman whose job it is to travel to various  clients that 
have been missing payments towards their mortgage and,  therefore, must have 
their home foreclosed.  Set in an urban city during  this present time following 
the economic downturn, SLEEP EASY is a  character-driven drama that asks the 
ultimate question we must all have  our own answer to: If you know you don't 
believe in the job you have, do  still continue to do it?

The roles in  the film range from a young boy (ages 8-12) all the way to an 
elderly  couple (ages 65+) and ALL ROLES ARE OPEN FOR AUDITIONS, no previous  
acting experience is required.  A full list of available roles is  included 
below.

Auditions will take place over the course of four non-consecutive days at the 
University of Akron's student union located at 272 Carroll St, Akron, 
OH.  Visitor  parking is located at the meters outside of the building as well 
as in a  separate visitors deck located across from Simmons Hall on East Buchtel  
Ave.  The dates and times of the audition days are as follows:

• Saturday, October 30 from 11am to 3pm

• Wednesday, November 3 from 6pm to 10pm

• Wednesday, November 10 from 6pm to 10pm

• Saturday, November 13 from 11am to 3pm

If  you are interested in trying out, please come prepared with the  
character(s) you feel like you would be most suited for.  At your  audition you 
will fill out a short questionnaire and then read sides  from the script with 
Michael.  From that you will be considered for  call-backs (the date and 
location of which to be announced).  If you  have any questions about the film

*Due  to the nature of the story, there will also be many "EXTRA" roles  
including homeless people, restaurant patrons, park-goers, etc.  If you  are 
only interested in an EXTRA role, please still try and attend  auditions so we 
can figure out which one suits you best.
