Auditions for “Inherit the Wind” at Brecksville Little Theatre
Brecksville Little Theatre will hold auditions for their winter production of  the timeless courtroom drama “Inherit the Wind” on  Monday, November 15th  and Tuesday,  November 16th  at 7 pm  in Old Town Hall on Brecksville’s Town Square,  at the intersection of Routes 82 & 21.
Needed  for the fictionalized telling of the famous Scopes ”Monkey Trial”  are 10 women and 15 men of all ages for speaking parts.  Additionally,  a number of extras will also be cast as scientists, townspeople, reporters,  jurors and spectators, including about a half dozen  boys and girls,  ages 8 to teens.  The show is directed by David Reifel and produced by Dina Collova  and  Ken and Georgia Maresh.  This is a perfect show for those who wish to get over their inhibition to be on stage as there are many small parts and walk-ons.   Persons willing to volunteer for backstage positions are also invited to attend auditions. “Inherit the Wind” will be staged January 28-29, February 4-5-6-11-12, 2011 as part of Brecksville Little Theatre’s  season of revivals celebrating  70 years of entertaining and serving the community.  BLT originally presented this revival in 1966.
