Forget the old stereotypes of silver haired men in striped vests, suspenders
and skimmer straw hats and come delight in the younger generation of
barbershop singers at Solon High School's Music In Motion Presents 'An
Evening of Barbershop'. 

 

Solon High School's Show Choir, Music In Motion, is hosting a benefit
concert featuring the dynamic 2007 International Barbershop Quartet
champion, Max Q, on November 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium,
33600 Inwood Road. This brilliant quartet performed in Solon last year to
rave reviews and standing ovations and is back by popular demand.  Sharing
the stage with Max Q that night will be Prestige, the 2010 Collegiate
Barbershop Silver Medalist Quartet; The Men of Independence, the reigning
2010 Johnny Appleseed District Chorus Champion; Music In Motion (Solon's
show choir) and several of Solon High School's quartets. 

 

Tickets for the benefit are $25 for reserved seating in advance; general
admission for adults is $18 in advance and $20 at the door; and $12 for
students and seniors in advance and $15 at the door. To order tickets,
