[NEohioPAL] THE SYNAPTIC GAP - PLAY READING @ TRI-C METRO

On Friday, November 19th at 1:00pm the Tri-C Metro Theatre Department will
present a stage reading of a new docudrama titled: 
The Synaptic Gap
written by Christopher Qualls 

The entire play is based on interviews and journal entries that present a
glimpse of the issues surrounding depression, schizophrenia, bipolar
disorder, and other neurological disorders.  
Immediately following the play's reading there will be a discussion focused
on the merits of the play as a piece of didactic theatre.  The respondents
for our discussion are:

.         Rachel Stehle: Associate Professor of Sociology, Tri-C Western
Campus

.         John Eby: Tri-C's Director of Arts Administration

I'm hoping for a strong turnout as this play will be of academic value to
all individuals interested in the Social Sciences and Performing Arts.  The
playwright will be in attendance, having travelled to Cleveland from Alabama
for this event.

WHEN: 19 November 2010 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: CCA 107 Metro Campus (Black Box - Center for Creative Arts)
TICKETS: There is no charge
