[NEohioPAL] TrueNorth Symphony Concert November 13

Jim Traxler will be directing the TrueNorth Symphony for the last time in a
symphonic setting, as he is retiring from the Symphony's directorship.  The
program this Saturday celebrates nature in symphonic music, including
"Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" by Debussy, "Pastoral Symphony" by
Beethoven, "Pines of Rome" by Respighi, and "Winter Concerto" by Vivaldi,
with Sarah Becker as violin soloist.  

 

The concert will be held Saturday, November 13, at 7:30 PM at TrueNorth at
French Creek, 4530 Colorado Ave. (Rt. 611), Sheffield Village, Ohio.  From
I-90 and Route 611 interchange, take Route 611 west toward Lorain and the
French Creek Nature Center is about 2.5 miles on your left.  Tickets are
$15.00 at the box office on the day of the performance, but can be purchased
for $12.50 in advance by calling 440-949-5200 or on the TrueNorth/Metro
Parks website, www.tncarts.org.  Click on the TrueNorth Cultural Arts logo,
then click on "Purchase Tickets for Performances."
