Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Each week this magazine format show
broadcasts a fresh half-hour of features, performances, on-location
reports, and interviews from the studios of the Idea Center at
PlayhouseSquare.

Premiering November 11, 2010

Cleveland Bluesman Colin Dussault and friends kicks off this round of
Applause with a taste of their new musical project the Acoustic Side
Project. Much of the music of the 60s told a much different story of a
turbulent decade. Performers expressed their feeling about civil
unrest, equality and most notably the Vietnam War. The music of that
time is part of a new exhibit at the Western Reserve Historical Society
about African-American and their experience fighting in Vietnam. And
when actors Dennis O'Connell and Holly Bark-doll met sparks flew ON
STAGE and long after the curtain came down...their story of the Magical
Theatre Company on the next Applause.
