The tale of
Orpheus and his descent to Hades to rescue his love Eurydice is re-imagined by
renowned, MacArthur Fellowship-winning playwright Sarah Ruhl. This modern
version of the ancient Greek fable is told from the perspective of Eurydice
herself, and centers on what she learns of love, loss, and the power of memory
during her time in the Underworld.
