Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for Part Time Theater
Instructor/Youth Theater Director/Choreographer.



Qualified Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Theater or Theater Education from an accredited institution or be in their
last year of obtaining such a degree. Graduate education and dance
experience a plus. Interested applicants must have experience teaching,
directing and/or choreographing Youth Theater within the past five years.
This position involves daytime and possible evening hours beginning January
2011. Instructors are contract employees with hourly rates based upon degree
qualifications and experience.



Candidates for this position will work closely with the Arts Programming
Specialist and must be able to work with students of all ages and skill
levels. Applicants must display a professional demeanor at all times and
possess leadership qualities in and out of the classroom. In addition, the
applicant should possess excellent problem solving, organizational and
interpersonal skills. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
