      Season's Greetings and Happy Holidays!

It's going to be a very, /very/ busy final month of the year for Chagrin
Valley Little Theatre! The email below details the *FIVE different plays
and events* in the next few weeks, plus *auditions* for our spring
musical. Scroll down for all the juicy details.

In addition to the events happening at the theatre, our *Accent on
Youth* <http://www.cvlt.org/aoy.php> outreach program, through which
high school students present social and relationship issues at area
schools, will perform at Kenston's Timmons Elementary School on December
6 and at Mayfield's Millridge School and Lander Elementary School on
December 10. This program is sponsored by the Ridgecliff Foundation
<http://www.ridgecliff.org>, which supports CVLT and AOY at six area
school systems this year.

We are also excited to announce that we have closed on the mortgage
financing for purchase of *38 River Street*, the 'red barn' building
directly adjacent to CVLT. This purchase is one of the three primary
elements of the Theatre's Capital Campaign, which you'll be hearing more
about in 2011.

Looking ahead to 2011, aspiring playwrites are invited to their submit
one-act, ten-minute play scripts for consideration in our second
biennial *10-10 Festival*. Complete details and rules for submissions
are online at http://cvlt.org/81stSeason/10-10Announced.htm.

Everyone's favorite orphan is back at CVLT for the holiday season in the
classic musical written by Thomas Meehan, with the Strouse/Charmin songs
you know and love, like "Tomorrow", "Easy Street", "Maybe" and "It's the
Hard Knock Life".

Based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip /Little Orphan Annie/,
the musical ran for nearly six years on Broadway, setting a record for
the Alvin Theatre (now the Neil Simon Theatre). It spawned numerous
productions in many countries, as well as national tours, and won the
Tony Award for Best Musical. /Annie/ returns to Broadway in 2012.

*** Tickets for the December 5th matinee are available exclusively
through Friends of WomenSafe, a 501(c)3 non-profit with the sole mission
of generating unrestricted funds for WomenSafe. Since 1980, WomenSafe
has served victims of domestic violence throughout NE Ohio by providing
crisis shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, relocation and therapy

Playwright Wendy Weiner blends the life of protagonist Hillary Rodham
with a heavy dose of laughter and Greek mythological madness! As a girl
in Illinois, Hillary (Amy Pelleg) worships at the altar of Athena (Erin
Scerbak), the no-nonsense goddess of wisdom and war. Hil's devotion
angers Aphrodite (Kacey Durbin), goddess of love and beauty, who curses
her with Bill Clinton (Mark Moore), described by the play's Greek chorus
(Mark DePompei and Catherine Remick) as "a man of mythical charm and
appetites."

Follow Hillary from high school to Wellesley, from Yale Law School to
Arkansas, and from the White House (where a suspicious intern causes
some conflict) to the Senate.../Hillary: A Modern Greek Tragedy with a
(somewhat) Happy Ending/ is a "Hillary-ous" comedy that will take you to
Hell and back!

LaForce and Alex LaForce-Marzullo celebrate the incoming year with bold
