Group Auditions: December 14 or 15 (6:00 pm - 8:30 pm) *Monologues will be
provided at audition by SCA.

Call Backs: December 16 (6:30 pm - 9:00 pm) *By invitation only

About the Show...

Written by William Shakespeare

Adapted and Directed by Dominick Chicotel

SCA Spotlight Youth Theater brings Shakespeare’s fanciful play *A Midsummer
Night’s Dream* to life. This adapted work will be shortened yet still filled
with all of the fairies, magic, intrigue and comedy of the original.
Audiences and performers alike are sure to discover the true power of
Shakespeare’s prose and verse through this highly entertaining production.

 Mandatory Parent Meeting: Saturday, December 18 (11:00 am - 11:30 am)
*Production fee due.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays (5:45 pm - 7:45 pm) and Saturdays (11:00 am - 2:30
pm.) January 5 - March 9

Tech Week Rehearsals: March 12 (Time TBD), 14, 15 and 16 (6:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Performances: March 17 (7:00 pm), March 18 (7:30 pm) and March 19 (2:00 pm &
7:30 pm) at SCA.

Production Fee: $115.00 *Due no later than 12/18/2010

About the Show...

Written by Patricia Polacco

Directed by Dusten Welch

Students participating in SCA’s Winter Stories on Stage production will have
the benefit of reading and adapting for the stage this truly significant
book by Patricia Polacco. Thank You Mr. Falker, which is completely
autobiographical, explores the struggles of a dyslexic girl who is saved
from falling further behind in literacy by one teacher who takes the time to
care. Celebrate the important and impactful teacher in your life by
participating in or attending this truly special production.

Mandatory Parent Meeting: Tuesday, January 4 (7:45 pm) *Students will
rehearse prior to the meeting.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays (6:30 pm - 8:00 pm) January 4 - March 3

Rehearsal locations: All rehearsals will be held at SCA except for February
24 at Chagrin Falls Library, March 1 at Twinsburg Library and March 3 at
Solon Library.

Performances: March 5 at Chagrin Falls Library (2:00 pm), March 8 at
Twinsburg Library (7:00 pm), March 10 at Solon Library (7:00 pm) and March
12 at SCA (2:00 pm).

Production Fee: $115.00 *Due no later than 12/18/2010
