CAST:

Synopsis:
An elderly mother asks her grown daughter to edit her newly written
autobiography. The daughter responds by attempting to edit her mother's
life. The granddaughter, a playwright, has her own take on the family
history that has already found its way to the stage. Over the course of a
weekend, the three women discover the truth about memory: it is not only
imperfect, it also hangs on by a thread.
Playwrights' GYM
The Playwrights' GYM is a new Dobama program that allows local area
playwrights the opportunity to workshop new plays. The GYM will also afford
new directors the opportunity to work with experienced directors and to
direct scenes versus the burden of a full-length production. The GYM's goal
is to help playwrights through to the end of his/her process with an eye on
uncovering new plays to be performed at Dobama.
Admission is $5 at the door.
