.   An hour of entertainment which showcases the diversity of the arts and 
performing artists in northeast Ohio.
 
David Krauss, musician,  founder Tiny Alice, a current member of The Blue 
Drivers, which plays blues music, chats with James McGilbray & Sue Johnson, 
co-hosts. David, who is a stomp-down harmonica player, and produces his music to 
benefit the Cleveland Food Bank, discusses why he has taken up such a worthy 
cause.
 
Tom O’Brien, Program Manager, Neighborhood Connections discusses how work by a 
Peter Longenheimarticle in the NY Times,  led Tom to be inspired by the book, In 
the Neighborhood The Search For Community, One Neighborhood at a Time. Tom uses 
this inspiration to manage the Neighborhood Connections, a funding program, 
which serves to build better neighborhoods throughout Cleveland via many 
grassroots community organizations.
 
Billy Carter, long-time musician, lyricist & composer is revered by co-host 
James, when James highlights  one of Billy's classic, signature songs, “Baby 
Don’t Go.” Billy, whose The Next Language album is also featured, is currently 
in the studio getting ready to release his next CD in Feb. 2011.  The audience 
is invited to see Billy perform at theHouse of Swing on Mayfield Rd, on a 
regular basis..
 
Don Mannarino, a 'dynamic duo' of clinical hypnotist & actor, shares how he 
began his 'non-traditional' career at 13 years old in his family basement.  Even 
though he originally wanted  to be a ventriloquist, he transferred is passion to 
the 'mysterious' realm of hypnosis.  Now, Don works with clients of all ages who 
have such health challenges as smoking addictions, and weight issues. All this, 
in addition to pursuing his theatrical interests.
 
Sue & James, introduce the new Wake Up And Live specialty “Thank You Gifts."  
T-shirts and coffee mugs with the Wake Up And Live Logo, designed by Kathy Kelly 
& James McGilbray, are now available, for patron donations to help Wake Up And 
Live's productions, performances and community service program, "A New You For A 
New Life.".
