Basment Apt. Pictures and director Zac Jones ("Sanctuary," "A Romantic Evening," "Last Call") will be holding an audition for the lead actress for the new short film, "Cherry Blossom."  Auditions will be held Saturday, January 8th from 12 PM to 4 PM upstairs in the old Centrum theater on the corner of Coventry and Euclid Heights Roads in Cleveland Heights.

Synopsis:
Amy McKenzie is a single woman who laments her loneliness by killing the men who reject her.  She goes on a blind date and must decide if her companion is her next victim or her soul mate.

Role:
Amy McKenzie - mid 20s to early 30s.

In addition to reading sides from the script (which will be emailed in advance), actresses should have a prepared monologue.
