The Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory Outreach has auditions for:
Chamber Ensemble
Chamber Ensemble is accepting applications for spring semester. Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 29th, from 8:00am-1:00pm. Anyone interested in joining Chamber Ensemble MUST provide an audition.
Chamber Ensemble gives players the opportunity to build close friendships with the other members of your group while developing a strong sense of responsibility and commitment in group projects, learning to listen carefully to balance all musical parts, greater precision in intonation, rhythm, and dynamic range. Students will be formed into either string trios, quartets (2 violins, viola and cello) or quintets (2 violins, viola, cello and bass) based on ability.
Requirements for audition:

*        Have had 2 years playing experience for their instrument

*        Play all scales, including the minor scales

*        Have a solo piece prepared

*        Anticipate sight reading

*        Should be taking private lessons with an instructor
***Auditions are made by appointment ONLY!!!***
