Football Takes the Stage in 'Runt of the Litter' at LCCC's Stocker Arts
Center
Football and theater collide in professional football player Bo Eason's
one-man play "Runt of the Litter."
Eason will perform the semi-autobiographical tale at 7:30 p.m.,
Thursday, February 10 at Lorain County Community College's Stocker Arts
Center.
Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for students with a valid ID; and $10
for children 12 and under. Tickets can be ordered online at
www.lorainccc.edu/stocker, or by calling the Stocker Arts Center box
office at (440) 366-4040 or (800) 995-5222 extension 4040 from 12-6
p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box
office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center. Take-a-Chance
tickets are available at the box office beginning at 6 p.m. the night of
the show as long as tickets remain. Take-a-Chance tickets are half-off
the top ticket price and are available until curtain time.
"Runt of the Litter" opens in the final hour of Jack Henry's lifelong
dream. Only one thing stands in his way - his brother. The play examines
what happens to two brothers in a family of overachievers. With one
brother destined for football stardom and the other who is seen as too
small to compete.
The play was written and is performed by Bo Eason, who played safety for
the Houston Oilers in the 1980s. His brother, Tony Eason, was the
quarterback who led the New England Patriots to the Super Bowl in 1986.
Soon to be a major motion picture, "Runt of the Litter" is brought to
life by Eason's sexy, tough, charismatic performance that is sure to
appeal to audiences across the board.
