The Illusion Factory, Akron’s premieretouring children’s theatre, presents a fun learning opportunity for students toexperience the Performing Arts through watching and participating in our productionof The Nightingale with its specialmessage of love for self, for others, and of what is truly important in life. Aspecial rate of $5 per ticket is being offered for those attending.

Something is amiss in the court of the Great Emperor ofChina. Obsessed by his worldly possessions, the Emperor has grown blind to theneeds of his people and the real treasures of life. In this humorous adaptationof the classic fairy tale, ancient Oriental gods, the Nightingale, and theaudience join forces to cure the Emperor of his possessive and grasping ways. Thiscompelling story also involves lovely song and brightly executed dance.
