[NEohioPAL] Casting Call - Short Film - Drama (West Side Cleveland)

4Man Productions is casting for a short film that will be shot over presidents day weekend February 18-21st. Casting will be held Saturday January 22 and Sunday 23 at West Tech Apartments from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Auditions will be by appointment only. Respond with your desired audition time, a headshot and the characters you plan to audition for.

"When the Lights Fall Off" is a story about the unspoken insecurities of intimacy. We are looking to cast passionate actors who have some experience in dramatic film. 

The characters are: 

Theo, 25 has a bad habit of taking for granted everything around him. He's always trying to push things. His tough sarcastic persona clashes with his weak, awkward physique. 

Claire, 25, is fiercely determined. She desperately wants to be interested in something. She jumps from passion to passion, attracted by the mystery of something she doesn't know, bored by the minutia of what she does. In this way Theo's distance and abrasive quality made her interested in him until it just became offensive. 

Drew, 26, is a content, comfortable person. When he was younger he was in a rock band, had all these vague dreams of fame/glory/etc. But when he was 24 he figured it wasn't worth it, settled into a happy relationship and hasn't looked back. 

Jacob, 24, uses sarcasm to cover up his genuine friendliness. Naturally amiable, but afraid that it will leave him vulnerable, Jacob learned long ago to feign an ironic cool.
