[NEohioPAL] BECK CENTER INTRODUCES WEEKDAY THEATER CLASSES FOR HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS!

The Beck Center for the Arts - located in Lakewood, Ohio - is thrilled to add to its varied roster, two special classes designed to engage the young student who is schooled in the home environment.  Headed by the imaginative Erin diLauro - who excels in teaching these classes all over Northeastern Ohio - these classes will provide a fun and educational opportunity as well as a social and creative outlet for the homeschooled student.  Each class can be taken individually but are also designed to complement each other when pursued together.  In fact, you save money by enrolling for both!

Homeschool Class: Acting and Auditioning* (Ages 7 to 14) Instructor: Erin diLauro
This class will work with students at their own age and experience level to prepare age-appropriate poems and/or monologues for school or community theatre auditions. Gain confidence and knowledge to give your best at auditions! This class can be taken individually, or in conjunction with Homeschool Class: Musical Theatre. NOTE: Basic Reading Skills are needed to participate in this class.

Wednesday; 1:00-2:00pm; 14 weeks; 2/9-5/18, no class 4/20; Tuition: $145


Homeschool Class: Musical Theatre* (Ages 7 to 14) Instructor: Erin diLauro
Learn Broadway songs, musical theatre dance/choreography and work on acting selections in a fun and non-competitive environment. Students will also practice acting skills by using theatre games/improv exercises! This class can be taken individually, or in conjunction with Homeschool Class: Acting and Auditioning.
Monday; 1:00-2:00pm; 14 weeks; 2/7-5/16, no class 4/18; Tuition: $145

About the instructor: ERIN DILAURO
Erin graduated from Ashland University with a B.A. in Musical Theatre. Erin teaches acting, dance, and musical theatre classes all over NE Ohio. In addition to starting her own "Triple Threat Training" program, she directs children and teen theatre productions, and is a performer. Some of her more recent credits include choreographing "Alice in Wonderland, Jr." at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School and directing "Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail" at Cassidy Theatre.
