[NEohioPAL] TrueNorth and Lorain County MetroParks Announce New Staff Member!

[TrueNorth Cultural Arts]

The Lorain County Metro Parks and TrueNorth Cultural Arts are pleased to
announce the appointment of *Alex Arroyo* serving as a *Cultural Arts
Educator and Programmer*.  Alex will be assisting all areas of the Cultural
Arts, on-site and through community outreach, in both performance and
education.



Here at TrueNorth, Alex has played the role of Juan in *Altar Boyz, *and
served as our Dance Captain for the show.  He also graced TrueNorth’s stage
for our Thursday evening performances playing the role of Seymour in *Little
Shop of Horrors*.



Alex is no stranger to Lorain County.  He has taught and choreographed for
Lorain’s Palace Youth Theatre, Amherst’s Sandstone Summer The­atre and
Workshop Players, and The Lorain Area Summer Theatre located at Southview
High. Profes­sional acting credits include: *Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat* National Tour (Dan/Joseph U/S), *Broadway’s Rising
Stars* (at TownHall), *Unlock’d* (New York Musical Theatre Festival), *West
Side Story* (Lyric Stage- directed by Original Broadway cast member Grover
Dale), *Cinderella* (Herald/Prince U/S) and *A Fireside Christ­mas* in
Wisconsin (where he played The Grinch).



Alex just completed Beck Center’s *Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat* and is currently the swing for 3 roles in Beck Center’s *Altar
Boyz* playing at Playhouse Squares Hannah Theatre.



Alex is a proud graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
