Tri-C West Theatre Department announces auditions for the world premiere
of "KISS" a new musical written and directed by Michael Laurenty. 

 

"KISS" is a play-within-a-play that revolves around the final rehearsals
and opening night of a new musical.  "KISS" explores the relationships
of the cast through musical numbers that will touch your heartstrings
and your funny bone!   Michael Laurenty, who also wrote the script,
directs this high-energy and heart-warming musical. 

 

Auditions will take place January 24th and 25th at 7 pm in the Western
Campus Theatre located at 11000 Pleasant Valley Rd.  Parma, Ohio  44130.
Callbacks will be on January 26th.  We are seeking a company of up to 9
adult men, 9 adult women, and some ensemble performers. 

 

Casting breakdown:

 

1 male and 1 female                  Late 40's - 70's  

8 males and 8 females               Early 20's - 30's

 

Additional character roles (that do not require singing or dancing)
available for

"Lobby Shows" and "Theatrical Previews"

 

There are no children's roles in this production. There are no Equity
contracts for this production.  There is the possibility of a stipend
for some performers.

Please arrive early to fill out paperwork.

 

Singer's Audition

Prepare 1 song, approx. 32 measures in length, contemporary, or ballad, 

preferably from a musical. Bring sheet music for each piece in the
proper key, an accompanist will be provided. "A capella" auditions
allowed.

 

Dancer's  Audition

Dress to move, preferably dance clothes and shoes.

 

Auditions:          January 24th and 25th at 7 pm  with callbacks on
January 26th

Running:            April 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th at 8
pm and May 1st at 2 pm
