Mardi Gras comes early to Stocker Arts Center when Grammy-award winner
Terrance Simien comes to town. Terrance and his band the Zydeco
Experience will be at Stocker Arts Center on Friday, February 11 at
7:00pm for a family-friendly beadfest!

Terrance is an 8th generation Louisiana Creole, born in 1965, and
influenced by the music from that period, including Dylan, Simon and
Garfunkel, Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke. Terrance has been featured in
dozens of films, including "The Big Easy" and "The Princess and the
Frog", television movies, and commercials. His music has been heard on
public radio and NPR syndicated radio shows.

Terrance's music blends blues, gospel, soul, rock, and reggae together
into one wonderful musical experience that sounds like Mardi Gras. Check
