Kickstarter is the first online funding platform for creative projects and is powered by a unique all-or-nothing funding method where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands. Co-founder Yancey Strickler will represent Kickstarter in our online Q&A. His writing has appeared in New York Magazine, Pitchfork, Spin, and the Village Voice, among other publications. He lives in Brooklyn.

USA Projects, created by United States Artists, the national grant-making and advocacy organization, connects people with artists and raises tax-deductible contributions for original work in the performing, visual, media, and literary arts. USA Projects Director Neal Anderson has been part of the core team behind USA Projects since its inception. His background includes the creation of multiple businesses and initiatives over the past 15 years in the technology, web, and non-profit sectors.
