Hi all,

This is a great film! If you missed it at the Indie Gathering last summer, catch it now. It will change the way you look at this piece of history.

Great film techniques as well. I highly recommend The Killing of Mary Surratt.

The REEL Show (www.reelnewsshow.com) is an exciting weekly web show all about independent filmmaking! This is your opportunity to watch unique independent films while chatting with the filmmakers! Catch us every Saturday @ 2pm EST on www.morningshowcentral.com/watch.

  On this week's show:

Watch award-winning short film The Killing of Mary Surratt, while chatting with filmmaker Chris King!

Boardinghouse owner Mary Surratt was one of four Southern sympathizers who was tried, convicted and executed for conspiring to assassinate President Lincoln. Believed by many to have been innocent, she was nevertheless doomed to be the first woman executed by the federal government. Was the widow Surratt truly guilty of the crime, or just a busy mother and innkeeper in the wrong place at the wrong time?

You'll also see alternative music video “Crazy” by Bitter Sober, and you can chat with the band manager/bassist Beth Ladwig!

Watch us LIVE this Saturday, February 5th at 2pm! Just go to www.morningshowcentral.com/watch!

For more info, go to www.reelnewsshow.com.
