The Players Guild Theatre is seeking guest directors for the current season and the upcoming musical productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and The Wizard of Oz. 
 
The Productions, part of the Guild’s 79th Season will be staged on the Mainstage, a traditional proscenium-styled theatre with 480 seats.  Jesus Christ Superstar opens April 15, 2011 and 
The Wizard of Oz opens June 17, 2011. 
 
The Players Guild is seeking interested and experienced directors who can work well with a professional production staff and creatively within the budget.  It is desirable that applicants have had previous realized experience directing musicals.  Those interested in being considered for the position should submit a current resume and letter of interest, reels of their recent work in either DVD, video-cassette or online video formats(please note DVDs and videocassettes submitted will not be returned), along with their vision or treatment for the production to the Players Guild Theatre:  1001 Market Ave North – Canton, OH  44702 c/o Producing Artistic Director, Josh Erichsen or via e-mail:  josherichsen at yahoo.com  No phone calls please.
 
Fee:  negotiable
Submissions for Jesus Christ Superstar must be received no later than February 18, 2011
Submissions for The Wizard of Oz must be received no later than March 18, 2011
Interviews will be held no later than one week after the submission date deadline
