LAST 2 WEEKS TO APPLY FOR SUMMER ARTS JOBS FOR HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE
STUDENTS
Are you a high school or college student looking for summer
employment in the arts?
Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio is currently seeking applications
for the
following positions in the ArtWorks 2011 summer program:
ArtWorks Apprentices - for high school students entering 10th, 11th,
or 12th grade in the fall.
Assistant Teaching Artists - for students entering college or just
finishing their
first college degree.
Site Coordinators - for students pursuing an undergraduate degree,
current
graduate students or recent college graduates.
ArtWorks is an arts-based job training program for area high school
students designed to provide training in the arts while developing
skills
for the workplace. For six weeks during the summer, Apprentices work
under
the guidance of Master Teaching Artists to train and create art in a
variety of disciplines. The ArtWorks sites (the Tri-C Metro Campus &
the Halle Building) are supervised by two Site Coordinators and
Young
Audiences staff.

Deadline for Apprentice and Assistant Teaching Artist applications
is
March 25, 2011 at 4pm.
Candidates for the Site Coordinator positions will be considered
until
the positions are filled.
