[NEohioPAL] Audition for Local Feature Film

Independent local low-budget feature film - for festival exposure and
possible home-video distribution. Great chance for building a demo
reel and getting a credit;

TITLE:  LOONEY AS A BED BUG

LOGLINE:  A number of mentally ill female asylum patients, stranded in
a storm drenched mansion, are murdered one by one by a mysterious
killer.

SHOOTING: end of May and early June (the film will be shot on weekends
and SOME weekdays; entire shoot will be finished within 3 weeks); DO
NOT AUDITION IF YOUR SCHEDULE IS TO BUSY, AND YOU CAN ONLY SHOOT ON
WEEKENDS;

LOCATION: one location only in Cleveland area (private home).

UNION: NO (this is non-SAG shoot)

MEDIUM: HDDV

ACTORS GET: name credit, DVD, local premiere, restaurant catering and
craft services on set, fuel money;

-FEMALE LEAD and SUPPORTING ROLES (a lot of screen time):

You must have very good facial expressions and body language (to
portray mental patients), plus vocal abilities for dialogue scenes.
Couple of female characters might have nudity and sexual situations.
The extent and visual content of these scenes will be designed by the
director and actor together - based on actor's willingness to perform
such a role. The characters that might have mature content are marked
with "N"

ARLENE - 18-35, schizophrenic; she believes she is GOD;
DAFNA - 18-35, multiple personalities;
IZABELLA - 25-40, Fear of being touched;
JUDY (N) - 25-40, nymphomaniac;
KALA - 18-35, deathly afraid of bugs;
MARTHA - 40-55 - Nurse - OBSESSIVE/COMPULSIVE
ODETT - 60-70 has dementia with no memory;
PHYLISS - 55-65 - KLEPTOMANIAC;
SARAH - 25-40 - PANIC DISORDER, with CLAUSTROPHOBIA;
TERESA - 18-35 - Fear of darkness, ghosts, shadows;
ZELDA - 40-60 - Masquerades as the new psychiatrist;
