Based on the 1988 Steve Martin / Michael Caine film of the same name, 
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS is the story of two con men on the Riviera. 
Dapper Lawrence and rascally Freddie unsuccessfully attempt to join 
forces, only to find that the French Mediterranean town just isn't big 
enough for both of them. They agree to a "loser leaves town" bet over 
the swindling of a wealthy, beautiful young woman and her money, and end 
up getting more than either of them bargained for! Music and lyrics are 
by David Yazbek, composer of another hit Broadway adaptation from film, 
'The Full Monty'.
