Bus Stop - A lot can happen in a single night

"Somehow deep inside of me I got a funny feeling I'm gonna end up in
Montana."

A lot can happen in a single night in a diner in a small town where five
stranded bus passengers wait out a snowstorm. Grace's Diner will become
the overnight "home" to these weary travelers until the roads are
cleared and they can be on their way.

Cowboy Bo is in love with nightclub-chanteuse Cherie and forces her on
the bus in an attempt to get her to his ranch in Montana. Is that wrong
if his heart is in the right place? Join Grace and bus driver Carl,
Grace's high-school aged waitress Elma and the college professor,
Sheriff Will, and Bo's head ranch hand and father figure Virgil, as they
try to maneuver through such complexities of life as optimism, romance,
and loneliness - all in one night.

Bus Stop shows that our lives are truly intertwined. We affect each
other in subtle and profound ways as we go about our daily lives. The
play was an immediate success, both commercial and critical, on
Broadway. Bus Stop is William Inge's most popular play and is a beloved
American classic.

See Bo, Cherie, and the rest of these fascinating characters at Stocker
Arts Center on Monday, April 11 at 7:30pm. Tickets: Adults
$34/orchestra; $27/mezzanine; students/$10. Valet parking is available
for this event for just $5 per car!
