Support Kent State University at Stark's fine arts students at the Festival of the Arts!

The Festival of the Arts at Kent State University at Stark is an event for the whole family. Come for exciting cultural entertainment on Saturday, March 19 from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. Enjoy art, sculpture, music technology, spoken word, written word and musical performances by Kent State Stark's talented students and faculty. All proceeds from this event will benefit scholarships for fine arts students.



*         Experience a musical revue of Songs For A New World by Jason Robert Brown.

*         View students' handmade books of poetry.

*         Children of all ages will love the hands-on clay modeling studio.

*         A variety of student and faculty artwork will be on display.

*         Several students will read original poetry and creative writing compositions.

*         The music technology lab will offer listening stations and provide participants with guided explanations of the lab equipment.

*         Student performances will entertain the audience with exceptional vocals and instrumental talent.



Tickets are free with current ID for students of Kent State Stark and Stark State College, in addition to children eight years and younger. For all other students and adults, tickets are $10 each.
