*AUDITIONS FOR “KISS ME, KATE" **AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS*

            **

            Solon Center for the Arts is holding open auditions for its
upcoming production of “Kiss Me, Kate”, set to run in the Calvetta Bros.
Floor Show Theater May 13, 14 and 15, 2011. This production will kick-off
SCA’s new Signature Series of adult professional theater generously
supported by Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and Friends of Solon Center for the
Arts.

            Larry Nehring (director), Kerry Glann (music director) and Sarah
Clare (choreographer) are seeking to fill all roles through auditions by
appointment on Saturday, March 26 between 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm and Sunday,
March 27 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Those wishing to audition for this
production should prepare a one-minute monologue and 16 to 32 bars of a
song.

            Performers are also expected to bring sheet music in the
appropriate key (an audition accompanist will be provided by SCA) a
headshot, a resume and be prepared to inform SCA of any rehearsal conflicts.
All roles will be compensated, however no AEA contracts or EMC credits are
available through this production and individuals must be 16 years of age or
older to audition.
